like i posted a couple of statuses on fb about being trans* and wanting male pronouns etc and since then, whenever i’ve spoken to my friends they’ve used like affectionate terms which are generally used for guys (mate, buddy, dude, man, etc) that theyve never used for me before. and i dunno, just think it’s really sweet that they’re doing that… like, it means a lot.

I don’t know…I think there’s a big difference between saying “you look beautiful today” to someone you probably see everyday delivering mail and like…shouting “Damn, I’d tap that!” out your car window at a stranger.
